Nicaragua – Exploring the Miskito Coast by Foldable Sea Kayak – • “On the other side of Nicaragua, there is a sparsely inhabited coast where tourism doesn’t exist,” wrote adventure photographer Braden Gunem. Gunem and Claire Cripps didn’t let that stop them.The duo went off the map, taking foldable sea kayaks to Nicaragua’s Miskito Coast.They dodged angry, mutant insects and heat to venture into the unknown where they discovered a hospitable, if senescent, paradise.

The month-long voyage took them through multiple European countries into the heart of Eastern Europe. Though their trip didn’t go exactly to plan, they gained far more than the satisfaction of a mission accomplished.

Expedition CAPE HORN Sea Kayaking Through The Furious Fifties • Florent André and his team of raft guides paddled across the juncture of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans at the southern tip of the world to complete a childhood dream: circumnavigate Cape Horn by sea kayak. But facing the ‘Furious Fifties’ was only half the battle.
