Back on the Beech • Beechcraft’s Musketeer was a fledgling, unproven aircraft in 1963, so it was chosen for the first cover of Australian Flying. Tony Self looks back at the flight test done in that issue and evaluates the accuracy with the benefit of 60 years of hindsight.

Advancing Technology • Australian Flying has provided 60 years of great articles celebrating flight, including the aircraft that did it, and the pilots who flew them. Andrew Andersen looks behind the news at how underlying technology has changed aviation in Australia since 1963.

Staying in Control • Flying in controlled airspace often daunts pilots that aren’t used to it. It needn’t be that way, according Owen Zupp, who offers these snippets of wisdom to guide you on your way.
